A special teddy bear is going viral after it “talked” to a little girl, and now there is a mission to help the stuffed animal makes its way back to its original owner.
Amanda Fields, from Princes Lakes, Indiana, told WRTV that the bear was among three bears in a box that her daughter got from a neighbor who was having a garage sale. The neighbor said the bear came from a Goodwill store.
Fields said her daughter had the bear for a couple of hours before she realized it had a “button” inside that contained a recorded message.
But it wasn’t just any message — it was a message filled with love.
“Merry Christmas from Afghanistan. Daddy misses you. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I’ll see you soon, I love you,” the voice said.
Fields said the bear’s message resonated with her because her husband is a Marine and is back home from his fourth deployment.
