Kamala Harris was asked about the difficult refugee crisis in Europe right now and what the US is doing to help given there is no infrastructure to sustain refugees for more than two weeks or so.
After the reporter finished asking the Polish President his part, Kamala started laughing hysterically for some reason and made a joke that ‘a friend in need is a friend indeed’.
I watched the full video and Harris did go on to answer the question after the Polish President finished, but other than saying the US wouldn’t send Ukrainians back into a warzone whose visas were expiring, she didn’t give much else concrete other than saying we would support Poland.
Just before this question Kamala was asked if the US would support an investigation into Russian war crimes. Here answer started out as a bit of a word salad.
