A stunning interview from the memorial to George Floyd in Minneapolis revealed the frightening reality of how many Black Americans think about White people in the US.
During the collection of interviews, journalist and filmmaker Ami Horowitz asked several people who were attending the memorial about their thoughts on burning the city down and using violence against white people.
The responses may be shocking but not surprising to those who have been paying attention.
‘Burn the City Down’
“Burn the whole city down, what does it matter?” one of the women asked. “I say burn the city down, y’know? So they can see that we’re here,” another woman said.
One of the women went on to say that Derek Chauvin should not have received a trial at all, and should have just been sent right to jail for life.
Another Woman Claims ‘Thousands’ of Unarmed Black Men are Killed by Police
Horowitz asked a pair of women at the protest how many unarmed black men she thinks are killed by police yearly, to which she replied ‘thousands’ and ‘hundreds’ just in Minneapolis.
The real number is around 10 total. According to data from the Washington Post, in 2019 approximately 12 unarmed black men were shot and killed by police, most of them were either attacking the police or someone else during the incidents upon review of each occurrence.
Some Activists Claim This is a ‘Genocide Against Black People’
One woman Horowitz interviewed claimed that it seemed like ‘they’ were trying to destroy the entire African American race in the US.
Horowitz pressed further and clarified that “Genocide means the targeting of one race specifically for it’s destruction,” then asked “is that what they’re doing?” The women replied “Yes, it’s the genocide of anybody that’s not white.”
The truth is, that if anybody is committing a ‘genocide’ against Black Americans in this country, it is Black Americans themselves.
In cities like St Louis, Baltimore, Detroit, New York, and Chicago, around 80 to 90%% of all gun homicide is committed by Black Americans, with other Black Americans victimized by these crimes.
According to the CDC, across the country, Black Americans have a 20 to 30 per 100,000 homicide rate versus a 2 per 100,000 homicide rate for White Americans.
In St. Louis and Baltimore for example, the Black crime rate is so high that these cities are more dangerous than many third world South and Central American cities.
Homicides in major cities including Baltimore are not race neutral. Of the more than three hundred people killed in the streets of Baltimore in 2019, just about all of them were Black Americans. The shooters were all black as well.
This crime problem affecting mainly Black communities is only getting worse as police pull out of these areas because of the media and every institution affirming the statistically false narrative of the Black Lives Matter movement.
In 2020, the murder rate jumped back to 1990’s levels, leaving approximately an additional 8,000 Black Americans dead. Because police are now transferring into the suburbs at the highest rates in history, as well as retiring early at record levels, the homicide rate in 2020 reached 6.2 per 100,000 people, and it’s probably much higher than that.
We May Have to ‘Start Killing’ White People, to Let Them Feel Our Pain, Says One Woman
After one woman claims that ‘most of the country’ are ‘White supremacists’, and that we should start carrying out mob justice on the ‘White supremacists’ that make up most of the country, Horowitz asked two other women about this mob justice idea.
“I don’t want to say we need to start killing all White Folks, but it’s like… Maybe they need to feel the pain and the hurt.’
Many people have pointed out that it is the media driving a lot of this misinformation by never telling the truth about the false narratives pushed by the Black lives matter movement.
Some have pointed to a study that shows the more Americans trust the mainstream media, the more likely they are to believe misinformation about police shootings.
It seems to also be the case that the more liberal you are in your politics, the more likely you are to believe many of these false claims made by the activists in Horowitz’s interview.
