The Trump administration has decised to disband a federal advisory committee on climate change, according to a report Sunday.
The charter for the 15-person Advisory Committee for the Sustained National Climate Assessment expires Sunday.
The panel includes academics, local officials and corporate representatives.
Ben Friedman, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s acting administrator, told the committee’s chair that the agency would not renew the committee, the Washington Post first reported.
