Firing James Comey as director of the FBI following his many blunders and missteps has been one of the bigger moves during the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency.
No less important is choosing the person to replace Comey.
And Trump just did so, making his announcement directly to the people via Twitter:
And who is Christopher A. Wray?
He’s a former U.S. assistant attorney general who oversaw the Department of Justice’s criminal division under former President George W. Bush.
He also has ties to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), whom he represented in the Bridgegate scandal.
Sounds like a man Trump can trust, and one who’ll help him DRAIN THAT SWAMP!
