Sen. Kyrsten Sinema left the Democrat Party and is now an Independent. She rejects party politics and is tired of the extremes of both sides. Sen. Sinema made the announcement Friday by publishing an op-ed in the Arizona Republic.
She said increasingly partisan interests and radicalization of both parties are why she is leaving the party behind.
“I am privileged to represent Arizonans of all backgrounds and beliefs in the U.S. Senate and am honored to travel to every corner of our state, listening to your concerns and ideas.”
“While Arizonans don’t all agree on the issues, we are united in our values of hard work, common sense, and independence.”
“Americans are told that we have only two choices – Democrat or Republican – and that we must subscribe wholesale to policy views the parties hold, views that have been pulled further and further toward the extremes,” Synema wrote in the op-ed.
“Most Arizonans believe this is a false choice, and when I ran for the U.S. House and the Senate, I promised Arizonans something different,” she continued. “I pledged to be independent and work with anyone to achieve lasting results. I committed I would not demonize people I disagreed with, engage in name-calling, or get distracted by political drama.”
She said the parties are more interested in blocking each other.
“When politicians are more focused on denying the opposition party a victory than they are on improving Americans’ lives, the people who lose are everyday Americans.,” Sinema wrote in the op-ed.
The former social worker added, “That’s why I have joined the growing numbers of Arizonans who reject party politics by declaring my independence from the broken partisan system in Washington. I registered as an Arizona independent. ”
Maybe she is on to something.
Her speech on filibusters and voting rights. She wants to focus on our “democracy” [we are supposed to be a Republic].
As a Conservative I can totally see where she is coming from. enough BS and fix this Nation. we are lost to bad ideas and greed. God allowed a plague and we have not changed one little bit; WHAT IS IS GOING TO TALKE FOR THE AMERICAM PEOPLE TO WAKE UP; “A FLOOD”!

Take a good look around you, what do you see. You see that our Freedoms are being taken from us little by little because we haven’t been paying attention. Our money system is being changed to where they would approve or deny any withdrawals from our own money. Eventually. it will be exactly what Klaus Schwab says, “You’ll own nothing and be Happy”. Is that how you want to live. You will not have control over your money, they will tell us what we can and cannot do, say, live, drive, work, eat, drink, every little thing that we take for granted every day will now be determined by the Globalists/Communists. At least the Republican Party is fighting against that and that is all we have. Until we make our voices heard they will continue on with their plan to destroy America and then the rest of the world. Sinema is still a Democrat. She spouted out some pretty nice words, but that is all they are “words”. From the day a Democrat is born they are taught how to lie. Her background is that of a social worker with no rational business sense at all. I am sure she has never signed the front of a paycheck. They only know one thing and that is to spend, spend, spend. If there is a problem just throw more money at the problem. They propose nothing but a path to socialism and then the next step is communism. Biden has perpetuated and escalated this progressive path but, he only does it through the Democratic party. We need term limits, a balanced budget, only paper ballots, picture ID, no early voting, in person voting and only absentee ballots if a person is going to be out of the county or unable to get to the polls for legitimate reasons. Put all government employees on the social security system like the public is on. If a government employee wants more retirement benefits let, them contribute to their own IRA, just like the rest of us do.
Another thing, the Republicans are really not much better. They need to grow a set of balls and protect the constitution and the freedoms that we enjoy, even though they have been taken away from us a little bit at a time. We need to get away from this spending spree we have been on and get away from this so called “climate BS” and become energy independent once again. We have way too many social workers ideas being thrown at us as it stands today. That’s all. Thanks.

I appreciated her speech. I believe that she is right but I’m not sure that switching to be and Independent is going to help. Had she switched to a Republican at least it would have helped to stop these horrific bills from being won by having the VP break the tie. We need to be a bigger voice in what happens in this country because if we don’t then we will lose America. That’s what President Trump is working for. He started the fix for America but had his 2nd term stolen from him. You don’t have to like him, but we need him. He is working for us and for America. He wants us to be America First instead of America Last which is what the Leftists/Globalists want. Wake up people, your freedoms are being taken away from us little by little. And then what are you going to do when you realize that you no longer have the freedom to choose what you want to do. We can’t afford to have another DemonCrap in the Presidency, or we won’t have a country anymore.
