WATCH: Leftists Are Mocking Sen. Bill Cassidy’s Answer For Why Anyone Would Need An AR-15… But It’s Absolutely Brilliant And Spot-On

Share this:

Senator Bill Cassidy was asked by a Vice reporter why someone would need an AR-15.

Despite what the tweet says, watch his answer:

Here’s what Cassidy said:

Well if you talk to the people that own it, killing feral pigs in the middle of Louisiana, they wonder why you would take it away from them. I’m law abiding, I’ve never done anything , I’ve used it to kill feral pigs. The action of a criminal deprives me of my right?

I love his answer because it underscores how an AR-15, just like any other semi-automatic rifle, is just a tool. In Louisiana they use it to kill feral pigs. I’m sure in many places people use them to hunt, or just to defend themselves or whatever. It doesn’t matter because it’s a tool.

Asking why someone needs an AR-15 is the wrong question. Asking what we can do to prevent psychopaths from getting into school is a much better question. Because now we know, after today’s press conference, that the massacre might not have even happened if the door to the school hadn’t been propped open and the school resource officer had been on campus.

These shootings get all the press but knifings kill thousands and there’s no knife ban on the table. Cheese burgers kill hundreds of thousands, car wrecks tens of thousands, medical errors more thousands but these rifles are iconic, fetishized featured in video games and movies hence all the publicity They can’t ever get rid of all the gun so what’s left is the loose nut behind the wheel and trying to prevent and pre-empt violence. Parents, this is where you come in, lean in with junior and choke back hard on screen time and de-hypnotize, and if it meanss cutting off the able and the internet, well, there it is. Same for smones and social media. Room checks for weapons. Almost all these trigger pullers are teens or early 20’s and male.

I set up a Go-Pro camera in front of my gun safe… not once while I was away, did any of my firearms leave that safe and go out and commit a shooting of any kind. Maybe it’s not the firearms that are the problem but the lack of thorough background checks?

I recently read a report regarding mental illness and it stated that the left has 5x the rate of mental illness of the right. Then combine that with the fact that it’s always a leftist who commits mass murder with a firearm… Want to stop these mass murders? Prevent leftists from buying firearms.

I mentioned this on a forum and a psychologist piped up and stated (essentially) that his clients were at least 90% leftist and it was like that right across the country. That more than backs up the study in the paragraph above this one.

Who burned the cities in the “peaceful” protests a year or so ago? It wasn’t the right, they were leftists.

Now why the leftist insanity and desire to kill and destroy? Their god (note the lowercase) is satan. They do his bidding without even knowing they are doing it. But just look at what they do and what they want. Pure evil.

Do you remember several years ago most “gun crimes” were committed with pistols yet the left screamed about AR 15s and were told that very few crimes were committed by AR 15s and now all of a sudden almost all of them are with the ARs? Kinda makes you go HMMM?

Carry concealed. As the police have no legal requirement to provide for public safely, it’s up to the public to save themselves.

The framers of the constitution and bill of right added the second amendment to the bill of rights to prevent an out of control government like the one we now have from destroying the nation by dictatorship. Further the framers wanted the citizens to have the same ability of firearms as the government to be able to properly defend the nation, no restriction on anything just firearms

Some hunters use them to kill deer and wild hogs. Wild hogs are viscious and you better have a gun that is fast and lethal to take them out or you could get gored to death.

I use mine for long-distance target shooting… There is an art, a discipline to being able to punch a hole in a target consistently at distance… It’s also a great way to clear your head of all the day-to-day garbage that runs through one’s mind because when you are at a range, you not only have your safety but the safety of all those around you to ensure. The safest place in the world is a gun range.

While the negotiations for multi million dollar settlements go on and on, Karl Rittenhouse is living proof of the right for law abiding citizens to own military grade weapons.

His name is Kyle and an AR 15 IS NOT military grade, if it were the military would not be using M4s. LOOK IT UP.

If one went to war with an off the shelf AR 15 he would be crazy, most off the shelf AR would fall apart in the first week of war, one must build an AR at a cost of somewhere around 4 to 6k to get an AR15 that would stand up to the riggers of conflict.

Mental health is a factor starting with democrats lack of respect for life. Think 63,459,781 and counting dead aborted babies.

Every sporting and hunting firearm began life as a military arm. That’s because Sports Shooters and Hunters require the same durability and accuracy the military does. There is no such thing as an assault weapon. And today’s Armalite Rifle Pattern sporting arms are the natural next generation evolution in sporting arms. Once the Model 94 Winchester was considered the all purpose utility arm in the United States. Today I consider the A.R. Pattern Arm with the collapsible stock to be that gun. Whether in 5.56 MM or 350 Legend this is an arm that can be used by almost everyone in the family. They can be used to take every game animal from ground squirrels to hogs and also serve as a great self defense arm when called upon for such purpose. I would dare say that at this moment there are more Armalite Rifle Pattern arms in private ownership than 94 Winchester and 336 Marlins. The genie is out of the bottle and no matter what the Anti Bill of Rights Democrat Crime Organization tries to do they will never put it back in.

If anyone noticed that on all of these killings there were signs missed or ignored that could have prevented a lot of grief. Remember, they never let a crisis go unused.
