According to reports, the US launched airstrikes during the night against the ISIS-K terrorist who planned the bombing at Kabul airport:

“U.S. military forces conducted an over-the-horizon counterterrorism operation today against an ISIS-K planner. The unmanned airstrike occurred in the Nangahar Province of Afghanistan. Initial indications are that we killed the target. We know of no civilian casualties,” CENTCOM.

Obviously this is a good thing and I’m glad he’s dead, but killing one terrorist? He can’t be the only one responsible for the attack. Also they killed nearly 200 in the suicide bombing yesterday.
It just seems a bit like small potatoes that really isn’t going to scare any other ISIS terrorists from committing more attacks.
