Saturday, President Donald Trump phoned into Fox News Channel’s “Justice” and he discussed the Democratic FISA memo, calling it a “confirmation” of the Devin Nunes memo.
“Certainly the memo was a nothing,” Trump said to host Jeanine Pirro. “That was really just a confirmation of — if you call it the Republican memo or the Nunes memo, it’s referred to as a lot of things, but that was nothing but a confirmation.”
“A lot of bad things happened on the other side, not on this side, but the other side. And somebody should look into it because what they did was really fraudulent,” he continued.
Trump tweeted Saturday that the memo was a “BUST.”
The Democrat memo response on government surveillance abuses is a total political and legal BUST. Just confirms all of the terrible things that were done. SO ILLEGAL!
