We all knew it was coming sooner or later. A deranged liberal would take a shot at Trump.
But we didn’t think it’d be THIS Trump.
New York City police have arrested a man who entered Trump Tower with the intention of getting to Ivanka Trump and doing her harm.
The man entered Trump Tower claiming to be a “US senator” who owns the place and who was there to speak with Ivanka about her clothing line.
Security found him to be wearing a bullet-proof vest and carrying two throwing knives and a sock filled with heavy weights.
The man, a 52-year-old Adames Benitez, was taken to a local facility for psychiatric evaluation.
And there are two MAJOR problems with this.
First, and most predictably, the mainstream media has all but refused to cover the story, despite it being important news.
And in so doing, the liberal press is contributing to the next attempt on the life of a Trump.
Second, while liberals like Benitez certainly are deranged, treating this as a simple matter of a mentally-unstable person doing something stupid puts the First Family at greater risk and misrepresents the problem.
There is a concerted effort on the part of liberals to demonize the Trump family and thereby legitimize violence against them.
What Benitez did must be treated as an attempted assassination so as to deter others from following in his dangerous footsteps.
