Remember how leftists are always saying how much they love women? Well, apparently the ones attacking Makenna Greenwald haven’t gotten that memo yet.
Greenwald made headlines last week when she took pictures of herself cleaning up President Trump’s star on the Hollywood walk of fame. She posted those pictures to Instagram, saying she had “nothing but respect” for President Trump.
What a sweet young lady! Unfortunately, leftists couldn’t help but try to tear her down. Greenwald went on Fox News Monday to describe her ordeal, saying:
“I think that we should have more respect from both sides of the aisle, and I was blown away by how much disrespect that I got, how rude people were to me, for a simple act of cleaning up our president, who is the highest office of the land.”
She then added:
“He should be respected, whether it’s his Hollywood star or just talking about him in public.“
Greenwald said she was visiting the city as a tourist when she saw President Trump’s star covered in sharpie ink. She was moved to act, removing the marks with makeup wipes in her purse.
Greenwald thought nothing of this gentle act of respect, simply saying:
“I was surprised that somebody hadn’t done it before, but I guess that this happens a lot.”
Since then, she says she’s been “blown away by how much disrespect” she received.
I can only imagine! Leftists can be so mean. But we have her back!
