Trump’s Plan To Restore Honor To White House Has Obama FUMING!

One of the first actions of President Barack Obama upon taking up residence in the White House was to remove a bust of legendary British Prime Minister Winston Churchill from the Oval Office, a move that was viewed by Americans and Brits alike as a slap in the face to America’s closest ally, the United Kingdom.

But now that Obama is about to leave and President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to move in, it appears that Winston Churchill’s bust will be making a glorious re-entrance into the White House along with him, according to the U.K.’s Express.

Nigel Farage, interim leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party, promoter of Brexit and outspoken Trump supporter, shared the news about Churchill’s bust after recently meeting with Trump in New York following Trump’s surprising electoral victory.

“At the end of our time with Trump, we asked him if the bust of Sir Winston Churchill that Obama had removed from the Oval Office could be put back in its rightful place,” Farage explained. “He enthusiastically thought that was a good idea. Need I say more?”

The excited Brit also noted that Trump was, in his words, an “anglophile” who would immediately seek to improve relations between the United States and the U.K., relations that had slipped some during Obama’s tenure in office, particularly following the Brexit decision.

“We talked about the prospect of the United Kingdom being at the front of the queue, all of which was met positively,” Farage stated regarding trade between the two nations, no doubt mocking Obama’s remarks in April that the U.K. would go to the “back of the queue” when it came to trade deals if the British voted to exit the European Union.

This is great news for those Americans and British who want to see the U.S. return to a more conservative-leaning stance and relations between our two countries improve, as the return of Churchill’s bust to the White House is symbolic of both.

Please share this on Facebook and Twitter so everyone can know that Trump plans to welcome back to the Oval Office the bust of Sir Winston Churchill that Obama had removed early in his tenure.
