Madison Bergmann was arrested after a boy’s father found text messages on his phone of her telling him how much she loved when he kissed and touched her.
Wisconsin police also found love notes from the teacher to her student talking about all the times they kissed.
“He says it’s f**ked up that she cheated with a little kid,” said a friend to the New York Post.
“He’s really really hurt. Not talking too much about it, just like ‘this is f**ked up’.”

Wisconsin teacher was arrested this week over allegations that she engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a 5th-grade student.
Police arrested 24-year-old Madison Bergmann, a teacher at River Crest Elementary in Hudson, Wisconsin, on Wednesday after receiving information “regarding inappropriate conduct between a current teacher and a 5th grade student,” according to WCCO-TV.
That information came from the 11-year-old student’s parents, who had discovered evidence of the inappropriate relationship from text messages between their son and Bergmann. Police said the text messages included details about the alleged relationship, which included “kissing, touching, and making out,” according to KARE-TV.
The parents brought the evidence to school administrators on Wednesday, who immediately involved police.

When police questioned Bergmann, she told them the student’s mother had given her the 11-year-old’s phone number when she accompanied them on a ski trip over winter break, KARE reported.
But when police asked Bergmann about the evidence, she invoked her right not to speak further.
“Learning about a school staff member and alleged inappropriate conduct that breaches trust is deeply troubling for all of us,” school officials said in a statement. “We understand the gravity of this situation and are committed to providing the necessary support for any child who may be impacted.”
Bergmann faces one count of first-degree child sexual assault. She was released from jail on $25,000 signature bond. She will be back in court later this month.

While suspended, the teacher has been directed to have no contact with Hudson School District students, staff or parents, and she is not allowed to be on district property or attend school activities.
According to charging documents, the teacher has been identified as 24-year-old Madison Bergmann of St. Paul, who faces one count of first-degree child sexual assault.
Officers were called to the school by its principal on May 1 for a potential issue regarding inappropriate conduct between a current teacher and fifth-grader. Upon arrival, school administrators and the victim’s father met with the officer, according to charging documents.The officer was given printouts of screenshots between Bergmann and a fifth-grader.
The text exchange included messages from Bergmann to the child allegedly talking about how much she enjoyed the victim touching her and the pair “making out.”
According to the charging documents, the victim’s mother overheard the child talking to Bergmann on the phone and contacted the child’s father about the matter.
When officers searched Bergmann’s bag, they found handwritten notes between her and the victim, the charging documents state. During an initial interview with the officers, Bergmann allegedly told officers she was given the victim’s phone number by the child’s mother after she was invited to Afton Alps with the family over winter break.
According to the document, when officers asked about text exchanges between the two, Bergmann invoked her right to an attorney.
“Learning about a school staff member and alleged inappropriate conduct that breaches trust is deeply troubling for all of us,” reads the school’s message sent to parents and staff. “We understand the gravity of this situation and are committed to providing the necessary support for any child who may be impacted. We kindly request the school community to respect the privacy of Hudson students and their families and refrain from spreading rumors or speculation.”
