Former NBA champion Matt Barnes and former ESPN anchor Sage Steele spoke about their experiences regarding COVID-19 jab mandates.
“Matt Barnes, a former NBA champion, and Sage Steele, a highly respected journalist and sports analyst, recently shared their experiences during the COVID jab mandates. Both expressed concerns about the lack of consistent and trustworthy information at the time,” citizen journalist UngaTheGreat wrote.
They both discussed how they were required to take the experimental shots to retain their jobs.
“All these side effects that they’re talking about now, and you know, you and I were almost forced to do it if we wanted to keep our jobs,” Barnes said.
“Well, I was forced to do it to keep my job,” Steele commented.
“In September 2021, Steele shared on a podcast that she felt ‘defeated’ by the requirement to receive a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine to keep her job, following a mandate by her employer, Disney, in July 2021,” UngaTheGreat wrote.
“Similarly, Barnes, a studio analyst for NBC Sports California, expressed a comparable experience. During an appearance on VladTV, he stated, ‘I was forced to do it to keep my job.’”
“I wasn’t anti-‘the shot.’ I just need more time,” Steele commented.
“I did it to keep my job. I need my job, and I love my job,” she added.
“I feel like we were the guinea pigs of this, whatever they put in us,” Barnes commented.
“We were,” Steele agreed.
“I was never a conspiracy theorist. I just want truth. And when I see lies, immediately, then you go, well, what else have you lied to me about?” Steele questioned.

“Complying like that made it more difficult for those of us who didn’t comply. If more people stood up and resisted mandates & spoke out against them that could’ve helped stop the tyranny…maybe.
