On Monday, The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project shared an alleged flyer distributed at a non-governmental organization in Mexico that encourages migrants to vote for Joe Biden.

Flyers Allegedly Distributed At NGO In Mexico ‘Encourage’ Illegal Migrants To Vote For Joe Biden

“Reminder to vote for President Biden when you are in the United States. We need another four years of his term to stay open,” the alleged flyer read.

These flyers were discovered by @realmuckraker throughout the Resource Center Matamoras (RCM) location including on the walls of port-a-potties They also appear to be handed out when illegal aliens use the RCM for assistance in coming to the USA,” The Oversight Project said.

A closer look at the alleged flyer:

Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin expressed 'extreme skepticism' about the validity of the alleged flyers.

"I am extremely skeptical of this. The flier appears to be a word for word Google Translate copy & paste of a portion of the NGO's English website, with 'vote for Biden' randomly added in at the end, when it does not appear on the site," Melugin said.

"The translation is bad, then you have 'bienvenidos' spelled wrong and 'todos con Biden' added onto the flier with a Biden logo. There's plenty of controversy with some NGO's, but this flier seems fake or doctored, even at first glance," he continued.

"Side by side (bad) translation. Nothing about Biden appears on the website. It was ripped/pasted and then the Biden stuff was added at the end of it," Melugin said.

"@BillMelugin_, respectfully, do you have any theories as to who may have doctored these fliers? We have a hard physical copy of one obtained from the scene. The thread includes videos of these fliers inside porta-potties at this organizations camp. So, if these were doctored, who ever printed these would also have needed to hang these up inside the porta-potties, seems strange," Muckraker responded.

"Furthermore, we were tipped off to this situation by a source in New York, currently working inside an illegal alien shelter, who told us exactly where to go to see this. This tip was sent to us weeks before physically being on the ground at the NGO witnessing this first hand."

"Not sure, and I don't doubt y'all got physical copies, I've seen the videos, but the text is a pretty obvious cut and paste translate from part of their website with Biden stuff added on at the end of it, with multiple grammatical errors and misspellings. The source of those papers is what we need to find out. I've reached out to the NGO director & I'm looking into it," Melugin commented.

"Credit where credit's due. I share @BillMelugin_'s extreme skepticism of Heritage's "scoop," skepticism which was validated by @thcartwright's confirmation that he had spoken to the person whose org is named on the fliers and she said they are outright fakes," American Immigration Council Policy Director Aaron Reichlin-Melnick said.

"Another social media user associated with a left-wing immigration group claimed to have spoken with the executive director of RCM and said the posters were 'Totally fake' and 'Made up by two posers,'" The Federalist reports.

From The Federalist:

Mayorkas — whose disastrous handling of the invasion at the southern border earned him impeachment by the House — was formerly on the board of HIAS and in his current role with the Biden administration has met with members of both Angry Tias and Abuelas as well as LUPE, according to Judicial Watch.

While illegal immigrants and other noncitizens are prohibited from voting in federal elections, federal voter registration forms simply require each individual to check a box affirming he is a U.S. citizen. The lack of any requirement that new voters show documentary proof of citizenship prompted former President Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson on Friday to announce Republican legislation that would demand such documentation from new registrants.

The federal government currently prohibits states from requiring potential voters to provide such proof to register to vote in federal elections. States may require proof of citizenship to register for statewide elections, as Arizona does. But even in Arizona, a voter who attempts to register to vote with the state form but fails to provide proof of citizenship must then be registered to vote on a federal-only form.

During the 2020 presidential election, 11,600 voters voted using a federal-only ballot, AZ Free News reported. President Joe Biden won the state by 10,457 votes.
