CBS News BANNED Reporters From Mentioning That The Nashville Shooter Was Transgender

CBS News told staffers to “avoid any mention” of the transgender Nashville Christian school shooter being transgender, according to a leaked memo obtained by the NY Post.

From The New York Post, “CBS execs bar the word ‘transgender’ from reports on Nashville shooter: ‘This is not journalism'”:

Top executives at CBS News have banned staffers from using the word “transgender” when reporting on the Nashville shooter — despite the fact that police have said Audrey Hale was just that and cited it as a key point in the case, The Post has learned.

“The shooter’s gender identity has not been confirmed by CBS News,” the network’s executives insisted in a Tuesday memo obtained by The Post. “As such, we should avoid any mention of it as it has no known relevance to the crime. Should that change, we can and will revisit.”

The CBS News directive was delivered on a Tuesday morning editorial call by Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews, the executive vice president of newsgathering, and Claudia Milne, the senior vice president of standards and practices, according to sources close to the Tiffany Network.

“Right now we advise saying: POLICE IDENTIFIED THE SUSPECT AS A 28-YEAR-OLD AUDREY HALE, WHO [sic] THEY SHOT AND KILLED AT THE SCENE,” the Tuesday memo said. “And move on to focus on other important points of the investigation, community and solutions.

It was known Monday on the day of the attack that the shooter was transgender as it was announced publicly by police.

Nonetheless, CBS was one of many major news outlets which announced in January that they were moving “beyond objectivity” for the sake of “diversity.”

Nearly every controlled media outlet went out of their way to avoid mentioning that this mass shooter was transgender and targeted Christians.

Reuters, for example, ran the headline: “Former Christian school student kills 3 children, 3 staff in Nashville shooting” — implying the shooter was a white Christian.

Other outlets focused on the “fear” that transgenders must be feeling after one of their own massacred a bunch of Christian children.

Whereas CBS News made the mistake of putting their order not to identify the shooter as transgender into writing, most other outlets likely didn’t even have to tell their reporters to avoid the subject as they were more than happy to do it on their own.

From the very first reporting of the shooting, we heard that the shooter went into the church first, killed the custodian and fired off a large number of rounds. Since that, no one mentions it, because that would be the proof that this was all about killing church leaders! Since there was no one there but the custodian and she didn’t get to kill those people, she went to the school-perhaps thinking they could be there. Had she fired the number of rounds in the school, that she did in the church-the carnage would’ve been inconceivable.
By the way, where is her Evil Manifesto?

This like the Covid ‘vaccine” should tell you something isn’t right. For what ever reason they have there shouldn’t be any sort of restrictions on reporting the news. But if there is an agenda then restrictions seem appropriate to those making the decisions.
