A Virginia restaurant denied service to a Christian group because of their Christian values.
Family Foundation is unapologetically pro-life and pro-traditional marriage and was refused service by Metzger Bar and Butchery about 90 minutes before their reservation was to take place.

A Virginia restaurant told the Family Foundation that it was no longer welcome to dine at the establishment because of the organization’s views on abortion and traditional marriage.
The Daily Signal spoke with Family Foundation President Victoria Cobb on Monday morning outside the Supreme Court as the justices heard oral arguments in 303 Creative v. Elenis, a case examining “whether applying a public-accommodation law to compel an artist to speak or stay silent violates the free speech clause of the First Amendment.”
Cobb shared that about an hour and a half before the Family Foundation party was scheduled to take place in a private dining room at Metzger Bar and Butchery located in Richmond, Virginia, the restaurant announced that was “unwilling to serve” the organization.
“They did a little research, found out who we are. We are unapologetically pro-life and stand for traditional marriage,” she explained.
Cobb said the owner of the restaurant then called and informed the Family Foundation that it was no longer welcome to hold an event at the establishment.
“They seem more than willing to defend their ability to deny access to food. That’s, I think, the stunning part about it, we’d like to think that in America, even though we have political differences, even though we don’t see the world the same day, we’d like to believe that we can all dine in the same places,” Cobb said.
The restaurant posted a message on social media explaining that they refused service because of the group’s pro-life, pro-traditional marriage beliefs:
Where is the leftist MSM on this? Are they going to be outraged just like they are over a woman who doesn’t want to do wedding websites for gay couples?
Metzger Bar and Butchery is lucky they operate in a free state that respects their freedom to believe whatever garbage they want and refuse service on that basis. I say this in jest because we all know that even if they operated in Colorado, they would never be punished for this by any state.
Because these laws are really only designed to go after Christians businesses who refuse service to the alphabet community and not the other way around.
Metzger Bar and Butchery can choose to refuse service if they like over this and you can bet they will also suffer the consequences of this decision. I am betting there’s a ton of people in Richmond who will be outraged by this decision to deny service to Christians and will never go back to that restaurant.

I thought that they stated that they were inclusive. Isn’t what they did to cancel the reservation considered NON-INCLUSIVE. I’m sure that they have served many people who are pro-life and pro traditional marriage. If I lived anywhere near there, I would go in and eat there and then afterwards would share with them that they just served a Christian who is pro-life and Pro Traditional Marriage and see what their reaction would be. I wish someone would do that, it would serve them right.
