The Twitter ‘Big Bang’ Is Coming! Elon Musk’s Team Begins Process Of Reinstating 62,000 Suspended Accounts

Share this:

When Twitter began suspending conservatives and others who voiced opinions that differed from the staff at Twitter, they essentially began creating a liberal social medial platform of conformity to ideas deemed worthy by whoever was checking posts. Thousands were suspended, including, of course, the President of the United States, and those who love the U.S. Constitution and free speech were horrified. Other platforms sprung up.

But it was not enough to clear Twitter of opposing voices, libs banded together and the new platform Parler suffered at the hands of app stores. President Donald Trump launched his own Truth Social which continues to this day.

Enter Elon Musk. Musk announced his plans to buy Twitter, and after a dance with the platform, took over and has been cleaning house of unnecessary, unconstitutional, and detrimental people and initiatives at warp speed.

One of those steps that Musk immediately took was addressing the suspended users, acknowledging that the platform was crippled by the partisan blocking of so many.

After posting a poll about reinstating President Donald Trump last week that resulted in 14 million users weighing in, and 51.9 of those in favor of reinstating the former president on Twitter, which Musk then did. Former President Trump has been so far silent on Twitter but has mentioned on his own Truth Social platform that he appreciates Musk’s gesture.

Following that action, Musk posted a poll to Twitter asking about granting general amnesty to accounts that didn’t break the law or spam egregiously.

In a tweet posted, Elon asked:

“Should Twitter offer a general amnesty to suspended accounts, provided that they have not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam?”
According to the results, a majority (72.4%) of respondents agree that suspended accounts should be reinstated.

Now Elon has shifted his focus to a more wide-range of users: everyone.

According to Platformer, Twitter has begun the process of reinstating roughly 62,000 accounts with more than 10,000 followers since Musk’s poll.

The employees referred to the move as “the Big Bang.”

Gateway Pundit wrote to their readers in regard to Musk’s new open initiative.

Earlier Wednesday, The Gateway Pundit published an article as an “open letter” to Elon Musk at Twitter. TGP founder Jim Hoft is unable to connect with millions of people through Twitter to update them on the deposition of Dr. Anthony Fauci because of a suspension after posting video footage of reported ballots being dropped off at the TCF Center in Detroit, Michigan, at 4 am following the General Election in 2020.

The Pundit:

As one of the suspended, a media outlet penned a letter and asked its readers to screen shot the letter and post on their Twitter accounts. The Gateway Pundit media outlet was banned from Twitter in 2021.

The Gateway Pundit is one of the top news websites in America today. In 2021 The Gateway Pundit had over 900 million page views. The Gateway Pundit ranked as a top 200 website in America according to Alexa traffic rankings in 2021.

Thank you to our great friends at the following platforms for giving us a voice today:

The open letter by the Pundit reads:

Dear Elon Musk,

On November 4, 2020, sources from inside the TCF Center in Detroit told us a van and escort car entered the arena at 3:30 AM and dropped off over 60 boxes of ballots in the dead of night. After our report on this incident local media challenged The Gateway Pundit and said this never happened. So we paid for the security footage and in February 2021 we released video proof that a van and escort car entered the arena at 3:30 AM and dropped off over 60 boxes of ballots. We also found that the same vehicles made a second trip to the arena that night. We were the only media outlet in the country to release this footage.

Twitter suspended us following this report.

Today, on Wednesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci will be deposed in the lawsuit filed by Attorney General and Senator-elect Eric Schmitt from Missouri and Attorney General Jeff Landry from Louisiana. The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft is a plaintiff in the case. We will be in attendance. And The Gateway Pundit will be reporting from the room when possible.

Unfortunately, we will not be posting on Twitter. We will post our updates on several alternative social media platforms and our website thegatewaypundit.com.

Elon, we are asking you today to reconsider the ban on The Gateway Pundit and our content. For the future of civilization, all viewpoints must be allowed in the public forum not just the often inaccurate reporting by the mainstream media.

Sincerely,

Jim Hoft
The Gateway Pundit Founder-Editor

twit has already told me that I am still persona non grata in three emails I received last week. I replied to them and cc’d elon@spacex as that was the only address I had for him.
I really don’t care as I was wasting way too much time on that pos site.
