A top official on Mohave County Board of Supervisors said publicly that he was told he’d be arrested if he didn’t certify the midterm election in Arizona.
Yesterday at a Mohave County Board of Supervisors meeting, Supervisor Ron Gould said “I vote ‘aye’ under duress.”
Gould continued, saying “I found out today that I have no choice but to vote “Aye” or I will be arrested and charged with a felony.”

Gould added “I don’t think that is what our founders had in mind when they used the democratic process to elect our leaders. I find that very disheartening.”
Mohave County is the northwestern most county in Arizona that borders Nevada.

This county supervisor is 100% right in coming forward. He should have immediately been put under Federal protective custody and this completely invested. The person/persons who made this threat should have been immediately incarcerated and charged with treason. It’s past due that crimes like this re stopped, and the MAXIMUM sentence be given.
