Fox News Just Stabbed Trump In The Back With The Ultimate Act Of Betrayal

Former President Donald Trump and his then Vice-President Mike Pence are drifting apart in key political races across the country.

For example, the two recently held rallies in Arizona on the same day in support of their respective gubernatorial candidates.

In addition, both Trump and Pence are reportedly eying a presidential run in 2024.

Both Trump and Pence have been crossing the country giving speeches in support of their respective gubernatorial candidates in the upcoming midterm elections.

Pence spoke at Young America’s Foundation in Washington D.C. this past Monday.

While giving his speech, Pence remarked that he does not see a divide in the conservative movement.

Pence said in response to a question about any purported divide between him and Trump:

“I don’t know that our movement is that divided. I don’t know that the president and I differ on issues. But we may differ on focus. I truly do believe that elections are about the future, and that is absolutely essential at a time when so many Americans are hurting.”

Pence also gave a speech Monday evening in Washington, D.C. at the Heritage Foundation, focusing on his “freedom agenda” and his vision for the future of the Republican Party.

Pence joined the Heritage Foundation at the conclusion of his tenure as Trump’s VP.

Fox News, considered to be a conservative cable news outlet, covered Mike Pence’s Young America’s Foundation speech in Washington, broadcasting the speech nationwide.

Fox News has also been covering the Jan 6 committee investigation, but the outlet fell for Cassidy Hutchinson’s hoax testimony to the committee which salaciously alleged Trump tried to commandeer the presidential Suburban during the Capitol riots.

Donald Trump was in Washington D.C. the same week as Mike Pence’s engagements to speak at the America First Policy Institute summit.

Trump’s speech was scheduled to be just hours after Pence’s speech at YAI.

Trump’s speech at the AFPI summit, organized by former senior officials in his administration, marked the first time the former president had been in Washington D.C. since President Joe Biden took office in January 2021.

This appearance in Washington by the former president was therefore notable.

It just so happened that the day before his speech, Trump blasted Fox News’s Fox and Friends show, claiming the program has “gone to the ‘dark side’.”

“@foxandfriends just really botched my poll numbers, no doubt on purpose. That show has been terrible – gone to the ‘dark side,’” Trump posted on TRUTH Social.

“RINO Paul Ryan, one of the weakest and worst Speakers EVER, must be running the place,” Trump added.

The next day, Trump appeared at the AFPI and gave his scheduled speech.

In his AFPI speech, Trump focused on law and order and securing the southern border.

“Under the Democrat rule, in Democrat-run cities, Democrat-run states, and a Democrat-run federal government, the criminals have been given free rein more than ever before. There’s never been a time like this,” Trump said in his speech.

Trump also reiterated his calls for convicted drug dealers to receive the death penalty.

“We need and all out effort to defeat crime in America and strongly defeat it and be tough and be nasty and be mean if we have to,” Trump declared.

“You execute a drug dealer, and you’ll save 500 lives,” Trump noted.

Trump also addressed the elephant in the room.

“They really want to damage me so I can no longer go back to work for you, and I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Trump declared, to a standing ovation in the room.

“If I stayed at home and just took it easy, the persecution of Donald Trump would stop immediately. It would stop. But that’s not what I will do.”

In a move of seemingly deliberate choosing, Fox News declined to air former President Donald Trump’s Tuesday speech at the America First Policy Institute summit, despite airing the speech by Vice President Mike Pence hours earlier at the Young Americas Foundation national student conference just hours earlier.

Considering the notable appearance of the former president in the capital city for the first time since his leaving office, the exclusion seems intentional and is being questioned by many on social media and in the news media.

MSNBC’s Ari Melber noted that Fox News “aired roughly six of House Jan. 6 Committee hearings live,” but failed to air Trump’s AFPI speech.

Social media users quickly noticed Fox’s decision not to air Trump’s speech and called the network out for its decision, Breitbart reported.

“Fox News had Mike Pence’s speech on today but they did not have President Trump,” one user tweeted. “I won’t be watching Fox News again, today was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Another user added, “It’s like Fox is cutting ties with Trump.”

Newsweek, however, published instructions ahead of Trump’s speech showing how to stream the speech on UTube.

C-SPAN also showed the video of the speech.

We are in a civil war for the soul/our culture of America. We need to watch and identify our enemy and never support them in any way.
