Disney has made a massive bet that they will be able to win the fight against American parents, but it’s a bet that they will lose big.
Pixar Animation Studio and Disney executives revealed in early March 2022 that a “overtly gay affection” scene in the planned Buzz Lightyear feature picture had been eliminated.
According to sources close to the production, the animated picture “Lightyear,” aimed at children, contained “a important female character, Hawthorne (voiced by Uzo Aduba), who is in a meaningful relationship with another woman.” While the studio never questioned the validity of the connection, a kiss between the characters was deleted from the film.”
Executives, on the other hand, have changed their attitudes to placate the woke mob and have turned their backs on parents.
After the parental rights bill was signed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Disney executives gave the go-ahead to reinstate the kiss in the upcoming featured film.
The scornful decision from Disney executives has all the makings of a colossal backfire.
Their stock is quickly dropping to the levels they saw during the Obama recession and despite this they are going to thumb their nose at those who pay their bills. Prepare yourself when the movie premiers in June for the woke mob to attack conservative families because it’s likely once the word gets out about the scene the movie is going to tank.
Before the “Lightyear” film the most prominent LGBTQ character was a cyclops police officer named Specter in the animated film “Onward.” During a moment in the film the character says, “It’s not easy being a new parent – my girlfriend’s daughter got me pulling my hair out, okay?”
Before the dust-up in Florida Pixar employees wrote a letter to Disney executives complaining that the company has cut “nearly every moment of overtly gay affection… regardless of when there is protest from both the creative teams and executive leadership at Pixar.”
“We at Pixar have personally witnessed beautiful stories, full of diverse characters, come back from Disney corporate reviews shaved down to crumbs of what they once were,” the letter read.
The same arrogance Disney is showing is the same arrogance we saw from Twitter before Elon Musk bought them.
They can try and piss off Americans all they want. The fact remains that they lost $50 Billion since they started their gay shit and they could be headed for bankruptsy if they dont shut up about it all. That is their biggest problem and always has been-Their own big mouths.
