WATCH: Matt Gaetz Gets In FIERY Exchange With Defense Secretary Over ‘Wokeism’ Taking Over The Military

Rep. Matt Gaetz got into a heated exchange today with Biden’s Defense Secretary today over wokeism and the military leadership’s terrible record around the world.

The new budget is why Defense Secretary Austin is on Capitol Hill and Gaetz works him over because of the military’s push to for soldiers to learn about socialism and welcome it.

Austin claims that the military does not embrace socialism, but Gaetz points out that the military is embracing CRT at West Point, embracing socialism at the National Defense University, and pushing wokism with their mandatory pronoun training.

But this isn’t just about wokeism. Gaetz wants to know what is in this 773 billion dollar budget that’s going to help Austin make more accurate assessments in the face of so many blown calls.

And by blown calls, he’s referring to the terrible predictions on the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and their prediction that Russia would overrun Ukraine in a matter of a month or so.

At one point Austin accuses Gaetz of being embarrassed for his country, but Gaetz fires right back that he’s not embarrassed for his country, but by Austin’s leadership, adding tht it’s disgraceful that Austin would conflate his failures with the failures of the uniformed service members.

He ended by pointing out that maybe there wouldn’t be so many blown calls if the National Defense University worked harder on strategy and less on wokism, noting that while Obama tried to destroy our military by starving it of resources, Biden is trying to destroy it by force-feeding it wokeism.
