Although former President Donald Trump has yet to announce his intentions of running again in 2024, on Thursday, he filed a massive lawsuit against his 2016 opponent Hillary Clinton. After Trump won the election, Clinton not only accused the Republican of colluding with the Russians to guarantee his win, but her campaign apparently spied on Trump while in the White House. Trump is now asking for a staggering $24 million in damages.
According to the lawsuit that is 108 pages long, “In the run up to the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts orchestrated an unthinkable plot — one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy. Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty.”
While the lawsuit was filed in the Southern District of Florida, Trump has been silent on the decision, letting his spokesperson Liz Harrington discuss the matter. In the video below, Harrington admitted that Trump was going on the offense. With the voters knowing that the election was fair, there was no Russian collusion, and that Hillary Clinton spied on him, Trump believed it no better time to start dropping names and exposing the corruption in D.C.

As for the lawsuit, filed six years after the election, it also focused on the Democratic Party, adding, “They worked together with a single, self-serving purpose: to vilify Donald J. Trump. Indeed, their far-reaching conspiracy was designed to cripple Trump’s bid for presidency by fabricating a scandal that would be used to trigger an unfounded federal investigation and ignite a media frenzy.”
