Ottawa police have began firing on conservative journalists covering the protests, threatening to use force against reporters who reveal their crimes.
On Saturday, Rebel News director Ezra Levant posted video proof of a female reporter on the ground in Ottawa being “assaulted by Trudeau’s police.”
Alexa Lavoie is seen sobbing in pain on film after she claims she was attacked with police clubs and wounded in the thigh with a tear gas canister at point-blank range.
Lifesitenews.com reports: Levant reports, “Alexa says she was specifically targeted by a cop who saw her camera. She says he came up to her and beat her and pushed her down. She says he tried to knock the phone out of her hands, to stop her from filming.”
Rebel News is suing the Ottawa police on behalf of their reporter.
Meanwhile, Ottawa police on their Twitter feed have been providing a misleading narrative regarding their actions. For instance, they have suggested that a bicycle was thrown at one of the horses in order to injure the horse and that those trampled were not injured and walked away.
In fact, it was the walker of a woman trampled by the horses that can clearly be seen in footage. Moreover, footage of the trampling and follow-up of the ambulance pick-up of the victims says otherwise.

Ottawa Police is full of sh!t … I saw the video with the bike in question and it was never moved in any way shape or form, not even after the police horses passed by and trampled the people. They can try to justify violence on a peaceful protest all they want BUT pictures & videos never lie!

It seems some of the Police in Canada forgot their oaths to protect and serve. I’ve seen the videos they don’t hold a candle to what American Police had to go through in the riots in 2020.
