Whoopi Goldberg actually claimed this morning on The View that the Holocaust was not about race:

This is unbelievable. The Holocaust was absolutely about race, with the Jewish people being the target of Hitler’s slaughter. More than 6 million of them. Navarro was right to point this out.
However Whoopi still argued that it was about man’s inhumanity or something. Sure, it was grossly inhumane – understatement of the century – but you can’t divorce it from race and claim that had nothing to do with it.
Joy Behar pushed back saying it was about ‘white supremacy’, but Whoopi then claimed that Jews and Gypsies are two groups of ‘white people’. Wow.
I suspect Jewish leaders in the US will have a lot to say about this outlandish anti-Semitic misinformation in the next few hours. Whoopi should be getting an earful about now…
