Last night Chuck Schumer finally held his Senate vote on dumping the filibuster in order to pass their election bill, a bill that would nationalize elections and take them away from the states.
And of course, as we all knew would happen and was completely predictable, both Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema joined Republicans to protect the filibuster, thus killing any and all chances the bill would pass. It’s over.

Sinema with a rather loud “Aye” vote, as she and Manchin side with Republicans on this vote. It means the nuclear option on the filibuster will not succeed.
