On Friday night Joe Biden went on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show for a softball interview and actually had to use note cards to answer basic questions.

Biden actually hid the cards pretty well during the interview, but at the end screwed up and showed the cards, much like he’s done in the past.
In this clip you don’t see them while Biden tries to convince people it’s patriotic to get the jab:
I didn’t watch the whole interview so I don’t know how much he referenced the cards during the interview, or how much he coordinated with Fallon on the questions beforehand. But he clearly had note cards and his own people felt he needed them.
Which makes the response of Dr. Jill Biden to question of Biden’s ‘mental fitness’ even more absurd:
