The crisis at the southern border is quickly getting out of control and it appears that President Joe Biden is finally acknowledging that fact.
According to The New York Times, the Biden Administration is quietly begging for Mexico’s help with the ongoing crisis at the border.
“Democrat President Joe Biden’s border crisis is rapidly spiraling out of control as new reporting on Tuesday evening indicated that the number of unaccompanied children being held in detention facilities is more than 300 percent higher than previously known,” the Daily Wire reports.
The Biden Administration is hoping they can get Mexico’s help by offering a vaccine initiative.
“The announcement of the vaccine distribution came at a critical time in negotiations with Mexico,” the Times report reports. “President Biden has moved quickly to dismantle some of former President Trump’s signature immigration policies, halting construction of a border wall, stopping the swift expulsion of children at the border and proposing a pathway to citizenship for millions of immigrants in the United States.”
“But he is clinging to a central element of Mr. Trump’s agenda: relying on Mexico to restrain a wave of people making their way to the United States,” the Times continues.
“Anticipating a surge of migrants and the most apprehensions by American agents at the border in two decades, Mr. Biden asked President Andrés Manuel López Obrador of Mexico in a video call this month whether more could be done to help solve the problem, according to Mexican officials and another person briefed on the conversation,” the report goes on to say. “The Biden administration is facing intense pressure, scrambling to find shelter space for a growing number of migrant children and teenagers held in American detention facilities along the border.”
The Biden Administration is stepping over their own feet considering they are literally encouraging children and migrants to illegally cross the southern border.
During an interview on Thursday with CBS This Morning, Joe Biden’s DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas made some questionable comments including one that would encourage migrant parents to send their children to the border alone.
Mayorkas said that the United States “will not expel” immigrant children if they are sent to the border unaccompanied.
“Some loving parents might send their child to traverse Mexico alone to reach the southern border,” Mayorkas said during the interview. “I hope they don’t undertake that perilous journey but if they do we will not expel that young child.”
Looks like the Biden border crisis just got even worse than it already is!
