New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is trying to do everything he can to dodge responsibility for the absolute devastation in elderly care and nursing home facilities in his state under his watch thanks to his policies, and for the most part the media is willingly going along with the plan.
In fact they’re going along so swimmingly that even Cuomo accidentally acknowledges they aren’t holding him – the state’s chief executive and architect and overseer of its coronavirus response – to account.
See, when answering, or rather dodging, a question about the devastation, he not only went with “nothing to see here” but pointed the finger at the outlets willing to report on his malfeasance. Outlets like the New York Post and Fox News. In other words, no lib media is willing to challenge him.
“I believe it is a political issue. I think it’s the New York Post, I think it’s Michael Goodwin, I think it’s Bob McManus, I think it’s Fox TV. I think it is all politically motivated,” he said.
He left out Jake Tapper for some reason.
I’d like to hear him tell Janice Dean to her face that she’s making it all up for political reasons, wouldn’t you?
