Deranged Antifa ‘Activist’ Pulls Gun On Cops: WARNING, The Ending Is Graphic

An armed man reportedly involved in a custody dispute was shot to death outside of a Portland middle school last week

“Authorities said they were called to the school shortly before 10:30 a.m. to escort the man from the school,” KOIN reported. “As they were walking him out, authorities said he produced a gun.”

A struggle ensued, which was captured by an officer’s body camera, and the man was shot and killed by police. He was later identified as Charles Frederick Landeros, 30, of Eugene.

Warning: Disturbing Content.

Landeros was an activist in the area who led a protest at the University of Oregon in 2017 that disrupted the school president’s state of the university address, according to The Daily Emerald.

The paper said the deceased man used “they/them/theirs pronouns” and that he was a member of the Antifa-related Community Armed Self Defense.

The group’s Facebook page, which has since been disabled, reportedly said that it was created as a “new liberatory and inclusive space for all oppressed peoples to learn about armed self-defense.”

More from The Emerald:

“The police are not here to protect us. They are more likely to harm us themselves than they are to ‘serve or protect’ us,” the group wrote on their Facebook page description.

In a Facebook post that did not mention Landeros by name, the Civil Liberties Defense Center posted that its community is “shocked and grieving” over the death of a CLDC volunteer who was shot by police on Friday. The CLDC is a Eugene organization that provides legal assistance and support for those affected by social inequality and environmental destruction, according to its Facebook page.

Here’s more police-related content from the The Register-Guard, which cited Lane County District Attorney Patty Perlow:

About an hour before the shooting, Perlow said, someone tipped the police department that a Facebook account with the name “Charlie Landeros” had commented “Death to all pigs” in a comment section of the post. The police department’s social media manager attempted to locate the comment but both it and the “Charlie Landeros” Facebook account had been deactivated or deleted.

Perlow said a similar comment was left on another story about Portland police from a Facebook account with the name “Charlie Landeros.”

The district attorney found the shooting to be justified, the Register-Guard reported.

“Upon making the arrest, their lives, and the lives of others, were placed in danger by Mr. Landeros physically resisting that arrest, brandishing a firearm and firing it twice,” Perlow said. “It is unknown why Charles Landeros chose to use deadly force in this circumstance, but he clearly had no regard for the lives of the police officers or the students or staff present, including his child.”

Landeros was armed with a 9mm handgun and two empty 9 mm casings fired from the weapon were found on the scene.
