James Comey Gets Fact-Checked HARD After Lying About FBI Families Not Getting Christmas Paychecks

More and more every day, fired FBI director James Comey comes across to the public as a disgruntled liberal ideologue holding a serious grudge against President Donald Trump.

Ignoring the controversy during his tenure as bureau director, to include him leaking information to the press and top agents engaged in an extramarital affair, Comey has the audacity to regularly lecture the Trump White House on morality and now, amid the partial government shutdown, he took to Twitter to — erroneously — declare that FBI agents will “spend Christmas without a paycheck.”

“FBI families will spend Christmas without a paycheck,” the disgraced former bureau chief tweeted. “This president promised Mexico would pay for the wall but innocent people are now paying the price for another lie. Our thoughts are with hardworking public servants and their families.”

Comey, who said earlier this month that Democrats “have to win” the presidency in 2020, may have been motivated to ding the man who fired him, but he’s beginning to act like someone with 2020 presidential aspirations, as he pandered to “hardworking public servants” — who double as members of public service unions, which can steer millions of dollars to just the right candidate.

But Comey made the mistake of taking to social media with his demagoguery, where he stands to be cross-checked. And that’s just what happened as he was quickly fact checked by Gabriel Malor, an attorney and contributor at The Federalist.

Seems pretty definitive, although Comey can rest assured that his media allies will pay little attention to his partisan fear mongering to stir passions.

Nevertheless, social media users are a whole other matter and Comey got his proper comeuppance.

Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter from those who are onto his ruse.
