Trump CRUSHES Fake News – Posts The Pictures Of The REAL WALL, Proclaims, ‘No Climbers…Under Our Administration!’

In the weeks leading up to the midterm elections, President Donald Trump repeatedly warned Americans about the approaching caravan of thousands of Central American migrants advancing through Mexico toward the southern U.S. border.

It was a mass of people that Trump characterized as an “invasion.”

Of course, the liberal media — from CNN’s Jim Acosta to Fox News’ Shepard Smith — summarily dismissed the president’s warnings, asserting that the caravan was not an “invasion” or a “threat” to American sovereignty, and that it would likely never even reach the U.S. border.

Fast-forward to a week after the election, and the first waves of the approaching caravan began to arrive in Tijuana on the Mexican side of the U.S. border, an arrival that was marked by dozens of migrants who mounted the existing fencing along the border and symbolized the very real threat that hundreds or thousands more like them could pour over the top in a massive breach of the border.

Unfortunately for those migrants threatening to illegally enter the U.S. that way — as well as the liberal “journalists” who defended and dismissed the threat — Trump’s administration was keeping a watchful eye on the developments and took action shortly thereafter to mitigate that potential threat of a mass of migrants climbing over the border fence.

Trump tweeted, “The Fake News is showing old footage of people climbing over our Ocean Area Fence. This is what it really looks like — no climbers anymore under our Administration!”

The attached photo showed a section of the border fence that featured no less than seven rows of coiled concertina wire, a nasty and razor-sharp deterrent that covered the entirety of the U.S. side of the border fence from top to bottom.

Indeed, anyone who would dare attempt to climb through the coils of wire would be painfully sliced to ribbons, and it would be all but impossible for migrants to surreptitiously remove that much of the razor wire to clear a path, as some migrants have been caught on camera doing in other areas of the border with single rows of wire.

The Washington Times reported on Nov. 14 that the Department of Homeland Security began to deploy the concertina wire along the border fence mere hours after the initial demonstration of migrants climbing to the top of the border fence.

At first, there was only a single row of razor wire at the top of the fence and another row along the ground, with a secondary row of the wire along the ground a short distance back from the fence.

Obviously, those initial rows that were deployed last week have since been reinforced with additional rows, such that the entire U.S. side of the fence is now covered by the dangerously sharp wire barriers.

Meanwhile, the Washington Examiner passed along reports that in addition to the “miles of razor wire” being deployed on the U.S. side of the border, military troops were hard at work making preparations to create temporary “tent cities” in a few locations to detain the thousands of migrants expected to attempt to illegally enter the U.S. in search of “asylum,” though most are really just seeking economic opportunities or government handouts.

In a bit of good news, the Examiner also noted that the show of military force at the border and hardening of the existing fencing with razor wire has reportedly had the positive result of stemming the flow of narcotics into the country by the Mexican drug cartels, who are also reportedly angry that the migrant caravan has brought so much negative attention to the areas over which they typically exert their control.

To be sure, the deployment of concertina wire is not the be all and end all of border security efforts, and is only meant to serve as a temporary deterrence against illicit border jumpers, later to be replaced by the oft-promised construction of a more imposing border wall system.

Congress has been less than cooperative in funding Trump’s agenda to reinforce the border with a wall, so the president has resorted to the far less expensive but still quite effective tactic of deploying row upon row of razor-sharp concertina wire to deter illegal immigration and narcotics smuggling, and a significant portion of the American people thank him for it.
