Christians Across The Country Are Rallying Behind Sarah Sanders After The ‘New Yorker’ Tries to Bash Her Religious Beliefs

The New Yorker profiled White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Monday, and people are not happy with how the publication handled Sanders’ Christian faith.

From Daily Caller:

The profile, which referred to Sanders as Trump’s “battering ram,” went into depth about Sanders’ evangelical beliefs and the pastoral role of her father, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

In a tweet sent out Tuesday morning, The New Yorker pulled out a specific quote about the church Sanders attends.

“Sarah Huckabee Sanders attends a D.C. church that is an affiliate of Hillsong, the global megachurch that teaches creationism and intelligent design. Sanders, when asked if she shared these views, said, ‘I believe in the Bible,’” the magazine wrote.

Twitter users blasted The New Yorker for the focus on Sanders’ faith and claimed that they were mocking her or trying to demean her.
