MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace prayed for a recession on Thursday so President Donald Trump would lose re-election in 2020.
During a segment about the economy, some Trump haters on the panel were unbothered with inflicting economic pain on Americans. However, Wallace was downright giddy at the prospect of a recession preventing Trump from winning a second term in office.
“If a recession hits…” panelist Jon Meacham said.
“You think that’s where the bottom falls out (for Trump)?” Wallace interjected.
“I think so,” he responded.
“Um,” Wallace said, flashing a huge smile. “Okay, good,” she cackled.
The media elites all scoffed and laughed together over the idea of a recession harming Americans so they could satisfy their own political objectives.
“You spoke to my better angels!” Wallace added.

Wallace has made her hatred for Trump unequivocally clear in recent months, where she has come under fire for making numerous highly controversial comments.
Earlier this month, Wallace said women in the Trump family — primarily Ivanka and Melania Trump — are “paid off” and “dead inside” because they don’t “stand up” to Trump. She claimed the two women serve no purpose and questioned why they were in the White House.
Prior to that, Wallace compared White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to a terrorist and said Sanders should be choked at the podium in the briefing room.
“How do you resist the temptation to run up and wring her neck? Why can’t she just say if a staffer said that, we’re going to get to the bottom of it and she’ll be fired?” Wallace asked.

Later in the segment, Wallace compared Sanders to Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, a terrorist who served in Saddam Hussein’s army in Iraq.

Does MSNBC condone this sort of language and violence against women?
Wallace has not faced any reprimand for demanding a recession to defeat Trump or for saying Trump women are “dead inside” and “paid off.” She also got away with expressing her desire to choke Sanders while comparing her to a terrorist.
That isn’t news — it’s tabloid gossip from a left-wing network desperate for a ratings bump. And it perfectly encapsulates why so many Americans no longer trust the mainstream media.
