John Podesta will likely get a pass for what would be considered a serious threat if made by anyone else. They’ll call it a “bad choice of words,” because he is a well-connected Democrat, but if a Republican making this statement…well, you know exactly what would happen.

The chairman of Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 presidential campaign posted a tweet Tuesday evening warning senior Trump administration advisor–and presidential son-in-law–Jared Kushner that he “better start wearing his kevlar on his back.”
Podesta made the comment about a Washington Post article hit piece on Kushner published Tuesday. Podesta’s full comment reads, “Seems like those “unnamed sources peddling second-hand hearsay with rank speculation that continue to leak inaccurate information,” came straight from 1600 Penn. Jared better start wearing his kevlar on his back.”
