Stephanopoulos Compares Trump’s ‘Stable Genius’ Tweet To This RIDICULOUS Quote

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” while discussing the fallout from Michael Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury,” host George Stephanopoulos said President Donald Trump’s tweet saying he is a “stable genius” was akin to former President Richard Nixon saying “I’m not a crook” during the Watergate scandal.

Panelist Matthew Dowd said, “Fundamentally, the president only made matters worse in what he’s done. All the tweets and everything have basically confirmed everything Michael Wolff said. Everything he has done has confirmed it.”

Stephanopoulos said, “When you hear him put out the tweet, ‘stable genius,’ it’s kinda like Richard Nixon, ‘I’m not a crook.’”
