Representative Jackie Speier (D-CA) was on CNN Monday and stated that she “may” call on the resignation of Senator Al Franken in the future, but won’t for now.
Al Franken is one of a number of high profile individuals to be accused of multiple counts of sexual harassment and other forms of misconduct. Rep. Speier went on to state that long drawn out investigations are appropriate and that sexual harassment isn’t acceptable in the workplace, but then beat around the bush as much as she could to not outright address the elephant in the room.
