Celebrities love themselves some Planned Parenthood, almost as much as they hate Mike Pence (see Leftist Celebs Make Video Supporting Planned Parenthood. Omit Important Detail… and Video: ‘Will And Grace’ Ditches Comedy. Mocks Conservatives Instead…). Mila Kunis found a way to combine the two. With monthly donations in the vice president’s name.
Let her explain why:
I disagreed with some of the stuff that Pence was doing and was trying to do, And so, as a reminder that there are women in the world that may or may not agree with his platform, I put him on a list of reoccurring donations that are made in his name to Planned Parenthood.
Every month, to his office, he gets a little letter that says ‘an anonymous donation has been made in your name. I don’t look at it as a prank, I look at it just as, I strongly disagree [with him], and this is my little way of showing it.
This is both disappointing and stupid. Disappointing because her hubby Ashton Kutcher scored points for his portrayal of a pro-lifer on The Ranch. And as an aside, here’s praying Netflix doesn’t do to that show what they did to House of Cards. Thanks for nothing Danny Masterson. Maybe they can just write him out of the show?
Anyway.
The stupid part of Mila’s “protest” is actually stupid on her end, as this tweet summarizes:

In other words, people are free to do whatever they want with their own money. Mila Kunis can donate to Planned Parenthood in Pence’s name or anyone else’s. But people donating to causes they approve of means government doesn’t need to subsidize them, right? So if plenty of people support Planned Parenthood with their own money, as Mila does, why should taxpayers subsidize them?
Jokes on you, Mila.
