President Trump has decided to do something amazing for our brave troops.
Americans saw the horrific way Obama treated members of our military during the 8 years that he was president.
Probably the worst thing Obama did to our military was making the promise to “fix the broken VA.” HE NEVER DID THAT! Obama doesn’t really care about our veterans.
But now, Trump is President! Trump is fixing the VA …
The Daily Caller reports:
Five hundred and forty-eight Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) employees have been terminated since President Donald Trump took office, indicating that his campaign pledge to clean up “probably the most incompetently run agency in the United States” by relentlessly putting his TV catch phrase “you’re fired” into action was more than just empty rhetoric.
Another 200 VA workers were suspended and 33 demoted, according to data newly published by the department as part of VA Secretary David Shulkin’s commitment to greater transparency.
This is a big win for the country, and part of Trump’s promise to “drain the swamp.”
It’s also a major win for our veterans, who for YEARS have been received nowhere near the level of care they deserve through the VA.
We all know the tremendous respect in which Trump holds our veterans, and clearly he’s determined to make sure they’re treated right.
