Megyn Kelly’s career has turned into one big embarrassment.
Sad for a woman who just a few years ago was at the top of her game. But, as we all know, pride comes before a fall.
Kelly left Fox News thinking she could command the big bucks. When that didn’t quite pan out, she took a position at NBC thinking her massive ratings would bring the windfall she desired.
But the unfortunate reality is that Kelly’s ratings at NBC have been abysmal.
Earlier this month, she sought to spark controversy, and thereby get the spotlight on herself, by interviewing conservative commentator Alex Jones, whom liberals accuse of being a conspiracy theorist.
But the ratings for that interview are in, and, oh boy, are they bad.
It turns out that the Alex Jones interview couldn’t even beat out reruns of 60 Minutes and America’s Funniest Home Videos.
Now we learn that NBC wants to dump Kelly, and is even trying to convince Fox to take her back.
But, bad news for Kelly. Breitbart reports:
…a high-ranking Fox News source told Breitbart News that there is “no way” Kelly could come back to the network. Quite simply, the source told Breitbart News, Kelly “would not be welcomed back.”
