Tomi Lahren Kicks A** On ‘The View’: ‘I Represent Middle America’

Conservative video commentator Tomi Lahren once again entered the belly of the beast — this time on ABC’s “The View” — and she totally won the audience. But it didn’t go unnoticed that she trashed pro-life conservatives to do so.

When the 24-year-old was asked how she had amassed such a large following at her age, she explained that while shows like “The View” represents the people on the east and west coasts, she identifies with those in fly-over country.

“I think I, in large part, represent Middle America,” she said.

“And also I do something very different. There’s not a lot of young, conservative women out there, and so I provide that,” she added.

Lauren said she believed the federal judges got it wrong when they declared President Donald Trump’s travel ban unconstitutional as violating the First Amendment’s Establishment of Religion Clause.

“This isn’t a Muslim ban,” she emphasized when Joy Bear brought it up. “Unless all the Muslims in the world have been able to pack themselves into six countries [affected by the order] this is not a Muslim ban.”

She agreed, however, with Behar that Saudi Arabia should have been included in the list of countries subject to the temporary ban.

Lauren also dismissed Behar’s notion that Trump is anti-woman, and brought up his hiring of a female campaign manager in support

“If he’s so anti-woman,” Lahren shot back, “why did he select a female to run his campaign? If Kellyanne Conway had been a Democrat, you all at this table would be applauding her, singing her praises.”

At the close of the interview, Lahren made a startling announcement — she’s pro-choice on the abortion issue and fellow conservatives are outraged by it. Lahren has been defending her “truth” after a social media backlash that could damage her career.

The outrage has reached the point where her current contract with TheBlaze may not be renewed. It comes up for renewal in September.

Speaking of applause, Lahren managed to get quite a few rounds during her visit, which is no easy feat for conservative on ‘The View.”

Friday was far from Lahren’s first entry into enemy territory. Most notably she also locked horns with Trevor Noah and Bill Maher, and took her licks in each time.
