Where there is a Hollywood awards show, there is a political statement to be made now that Donald Trump is our president and the majority of the entertainment industry hates him. The first statement of the night was an unexpected one when Black singer Joy Villa made the red carpet great again in her Trump-supporting gown, shattering the racist stereotype against our leader. Although she was aware that donning such a dress at an event like this would make her a target, she certainly wasn’t expecting what came of it the second she left the awards show.
Knowing that these awards shows have become a stage for trashing our president, Villa decided to counter that sentiment by showing her support for Trump in an incredible “Make America Great Again” gown. She looked stunning and was beaming with patriotism and pride for our president. She put her name on the map for conservatives who may not have known her until she walked the red carpet in this ensemble last night, and also made herself a target from the vile left, including some in her own industry.
Within seconds of stepping out in her MAGA gear, Villa was verbally berated by clearly non-tolerant leftists who even went as far as to call for her death. “ATTACK!! KILL HER!! THROW HER IN A CAMP…FOR ADULTS!!” one liberal psycho screamed on Twitter. Another stooped to an immature level by changing her name on Wikipedia to Joy Angela Villa Trash, the Gateway Pundit reported. The attacks raged on for hours, calling her a “desperate traitor,” and some turned racist since liberals only think racism is wrong when they claim it’s coming from a conservative. Then something really alarming happened after she left the show in her dress.
Not long after leaving the show and learning of the attacks against her, she got the good news of the “Trump effect” she just received by being brave enough to show her support. Her album, I Make the Static, soared to the top of the charts on Amazon, going from number 543,202 to #3. That’s a 18,106,633 percent increase in a matter of hours and she is currently outselling her notoriously contentious counterparts, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé.
The American people have spoken once again by unprecedented album sales for the singer who showed support for Trump. People are sick of liberal entertainers spewing hate and perpetuating divisiveness from their pretentious perches. The opposite responses to Villa from both sides of political aisle proves the vast difference in political parties. There’s never a surge in sales for entertainers’ work who trash Trump after they say their hateful piece, but conservatives put their money where their mouth is.
