After rattling on about Trump, including remarking about how The Donald doesn’t want debates to be held on Monday so they don’t interfere with NFL games (which makes total sense, because Trump wants more people to tune into the debates, he’s not worried about missing games himself), Tim Kaine proved just how DUMB he is when it comes to the constitution.

Kaine seems to think that the constitution says elections must be held in the fall.

“How dare the framers of the Constitution mandate that the presidential election be during football season,” Kaine said sarcastically. “It’s an outrage the Constitution requires the presidential election to be in football season.”

We’d love to know where Tim came up with a date being included anywhere in the constitution, because the only article is as follows:

Article II, Section I:

The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.

It was Congress that set the date, not the Constitution. Okay Tim, now step away from the microphone before you say something else stupid.
