After a pro-Trump Twitter account posted a video from the 47-year-old rapper’s interview with Bloomberg Politics where he says Americans “love” the Republican nominee, Ice Cube clarified that he was not endorsing him. (RELATED: Ice Cube: ‘Donald Trump Is What Americans Love’)

“Donald Trump is what Americans love,” he said in the video. “Donald Trump is what Americans aspire to be — rich, powerful, do what you wanna do, say what you wanna say, be how you wanna be.”

“That’s kind of been like the American Dream. He looks like a boss to everybody, and Americans love to have a boss.”

He then criticized Hillary Clinton in the same interview.

“To call your own citizens ‘super predators’ is pretty harsh,” he said during the interview when asked about Hillary Clinton. “It’s not solving the problem. It’s just making it worse.”

But Ice Cube said he won’t be voting for Trump this November.

“I will never endorse a mothafucka like Donald Trump! EVER!!!” he tweeted this week. “Stealing endorsement is not how you become the president of the United States, homie. Leave my name out ya mouth.”
