Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump reacted to the news that three police officers were killed in a shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Trump suggested that the killing of law enforcement is due to the “lack of leadership in our country.”
“We grieve for the officers killed in Baton Rouge today. How many law enforcement and people have to die because of a lack of leadership in our country? We demand law and order,” Trump stated. “If he can’t do that, he should resign now, and someone step in who knows what they’re doing.”
Nailed it — our leaders, referring to Obama and his lackeys, need to end the divisive, racist and anti-cop rhetoric. But they won’t.
At least three police officers were killed on Sunday during a shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and several others were injured. Police are actively looking for the suspects.
The shooting comes after five police officers were killed and several others were injured during a shooting in Dallas, Texas earlier this month.
