Americans everywhere were furious on Tuesday when FBI Director James Comey announced that his organization will not bringing charges against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her use of a personal email server.
“To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now,” Comey told reporters Tuesday, according to Conservative Tribune.
Though Comey said that there was not enough evidence against Clinton to recommend a criminal indictment because it was unlikely that the Department of Justice could obtain a conviction, he also said that she should be stripped of her security clearance because of the egregiously incompetent way in which she and he staff handled classified information.
