On Sept. 11, 2001, America suffered a terror attack that changed our nation forever. Over 15 years later, in January 2017, Hillary Clinton — and her top aide, Huma Abedin — may be moving into the White House.
Those two facts may seem like a non sequitur. However, when you look at where Huma Abedin was working on that fateful day, it’s not. Not at all.
It turns out that one of Hillary Clinton’s closest confidants was working for an organization that the government wanted to put on a list of terrorist funders.
According to Breitbart, Abedin was working in the London offices of the The Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs and the Journal for Muslim Minority Affairs — publications one writer called “the Abedin family business.” Huma worked in the offices as the assistant editor of the JMMA.
Those offices were owned by the Muslim World League, a Saudi-run group with Wahhabi Islamist leanings. And the Muslim World League wasn’t just a landlord — there were significant ties between the organization and the two publications.
The United States had tried to put the Muslim World League on a list of terror supporters after 9/11, but had to withdraw it after pressure from the Saudi government.
Less than a month after the World Trade Center was reduced to a heap of rubble,Newsweek reported: “Two interrelated global charities directly financed by the Saudi government –the International Islamic Relief Organization and the Muslim World League — have been used by bin Laden to finance his operations. The organizations were left off the list of groups sanctioned by the United States last week, U.S. officials hinted to NEWSWEEK, in order to avoid embarrassing the Saudi government.”
Harper’s Magazine confirmed the same thing in a 2004 article.
“In other cases, the Bush Administration made a conscious decision not to pursue major Saudi conduits for terrorist funding,” they wrote.
“The clearest example involves two ostensible charities that are long known to have funneled money to Al Qaeda — the International Islamic Relief Organization and the Muslim World League. Both are financed directly by the Saudi government. MWL is an evangelical organization that was created to help spread Wahhabism, the Saudi brand of Islamic fundamentalism.”
In other words, on 9/11, at the peak of Al Qaeda’s destructive reach, Huma Abedin was working for an arm of a “charity” funding Osama bin Laden.
And how many times have Abedin or her boss, Hillary Clinton, disclosed this? A whopping total of zero times.
It would be irresponsible to engage in any sort of conspiracy theory stating that Huma Abedin is a “Manchurian Aide” of some sort, carrying out the whims of Osama bin Laden and Anwar al-Awlaki from inside the State Department while using Hillary Clinton as a marionette. We do not suggest that in any way.
However, Abedin’s name has popped up in conjunction with a whole spate of terrorist organizations, including the Muslim Brotherhood and now an Al Qaeda surrogate. Do you think that perhaps this should have raised a giant red flag on her security clearance at some point?
For that matter, the fact that Hillary Clinton chose to ignore the fact that Huma Abedin was one or two degrees removed from some of Islamic terrorism’s biggest figures is simply unconscionable.
If this is how Clinton plans to run her presidency, this revelation ought to be automatically disqualifying. Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree.
