Virtually no one thought Donald Trump would be the Republican nominee for president.
When he entered the race, he was almost universally laughed at. Now, Trump’s getting the last laugh.
He has created a video of spliced-together interviews of pundits and politicians who were all (more or less) saying the same thing: “Trump will not be the nominee.” Of course now, he has picked up enough delegates to clinch the nomination, and he will be getting it in July at the Republican convention in Cleveland.
Trump, ever one to ruffle feathers, took to Instagram, of all places, to release this video, which includes former rivals Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, and current enemy Mitt Romney. It shows every one of them denouncing them juxtaposed to the coverage of him on the May 26 when he locked down the nomination.
Were I to guess, Trump is pretty smug, but I think it’s fair to say he’s earned it.

Now, all he has to do is fight Hillary Clinton, the democratic front-runner, in an already heated battle — here’s hoping she goes without an arrest long enough to make a fight of it.
