Hillary and Bill Clinton are pissed off after a behind the scenes video of them on Election Day was been leaked to the public. Thinking she had wrapped up the big win over Donald Trump, the private video captures the Clintons sharing a celebratory moment when they thought no one is watching. What’s really embarrassing is Bill’s juvenile reaction as he acts like a giddy school girl caught right on camera.
Hillary held a midnight rally, starting at midnight and ending well into the wee hours of Election Day morning. Getting the word from her internal polling geniuses that the election was a done deal, the video captures a private moment backstage as the Clintons celebrate.
Chelsea, thinking her mom is the next president, rushed over to give her a big hug, but Bill’s reaction was by far the best. As Chelsea hugged Hillary, Bill was unable to contain his excitement and started jumping up and down like a giddy school girl, pumping his fists.
The video is the prelude to what happened next on Hillary’s plane. As they leave North Carolina around 3am on Election Day, Twitchy reports, “Mrs. Clinton’s campaign was so confident in her victory that her aides popped open Champagne on the campaign plane early Tuesday. But that conviction, aides would later learn, was based largely on erroneous data.”
A few hours later, everything went sideways for the Clintons as the American people voted for Donald Trump. Hillary’s closest staffers, Huma Abedin, John Podesta, and Jen Palmieri, had the job of breaking the bad news to Hillary, but all the biggest names in managing national campaigns thought there was no way that Trump would win.
