BREAKING: Michigan Rep. Begins Process To IMPEACH Gov. Whitmer Over Extreme Overreach During Covid

On Sunday, Republican state representative in Michigan Matt Maddock revealed that he was in the process of filing the paperwork to impeach radical Democratic governor Gretchen Whitmer.

The impeachment filing comes after Whitmer has imposed extreme lockdown measures on the people of Michigan. The governor is also teasing even stricter lockdowns and scolded families, demanding them to not hug one another at Thanksgiving.

“Something had to be done. She’s ruining this great state. Small businesses and most dine-in restaurants will be dead by the end of the year. She’s caused the deaths of many vulnerable elderly people who died alone, scared, and pointlessly. This was long overdue,” Maddock said in a statement to the Gateway Pundit.

In his Facebook post where he announced the impeachment filing, Maddock said the following:

Myself and the following members: Daire Rendon, Beau LaFaveRyan BermanShane Hernandez, John Reilly, incoming legislators Ken Borton Steve Carra Patrick Outman, Senators Dan Lauwers Lana Theis and a growing list of Legislators are calling forthwith for impeachment hearings for Governor Whitmer.
Michigan voters know she has committed the following impeachable conduct:

Ignored court orders.
Violated our Constitutional rights.
Completely ignored due process and the legislature.
Weaponized contract tracing databases to aid democrat campaigns.
Using our kids as political pawns and denied special needs students who depend on the services that occur during in-person classes. Caused the unnecessary death of thousands of our vulnerable elderly who died alone and scared in nursing homes.
I’ve listed the first things that come to my mind. What did I miss?

On Sunday, Whitmer issued an “emergency order” where she enforced her totalitarian-like rules on her own people.

“Tonight, @MichiganHHS issued an emergency order that enacts a three-week pause, targeting indoor social gatherings and other group activities to curb our state’s rising #COVID19 infection rates,” she said in a Twitter thread.

“In the spring, we listened to public health experts and saved thousands of lives together,” she continued. “I am personally asking each and every one of you to channel that same energy and do everything in your power to protect our communities from this virus and save lives again.”

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced new restrictions on Sunday aimed at mitigating the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

“The situation has never been more dire,” Whitmer said Sunday. “We are at the precipice, and we need to take some action.”

Starting Wednesday, in-person classes at high schools and colleges statewide and eat-in dining at restaurants and bars will be suspended until Dec. 8.

According to Whitmer, all organized sports and group excercise classes will be canceled. However, gyms will remain open for individual excercise with strict safety measures and professional and college athletics will be allowed to continue as well as outdoor dining and take out. In addition, casinos, movie theaters, bowling alleys, ice skating rinks, bingo halls, arcades and indoor water parks will have to temporarily shut down, and all businesses are asked to allow employees to work from home if possible.

Gatherings inside homes will also be limited to two households at a time under the new order. Health officials strongly urge familes to pick a single other household to interact with over the next three weeks. Whitmer

“Indoor gatherings are the greatest source of spread, and sharply limiting them is our focus,” said Robert Gordon, director of the state Department of Health and Human Services. “The order is targeted and temporary, but a terrible loss of life will be forever unless we act. By coming together today, we can save thousands of lives.”

Whitmer asked people to “make the difficult but right choice” and avoid large gatherings during the holiday.

“If you are considering spending Thanksgiving with people outside of your household, I urge you to reconsider,” Whitmer said.
